Our Curriculum

At Wellbrook School our approach to education integrates core academic subjects, social and life skill, placing the pupil at the centre. We deliver a personalised education through innovative teaching methods and dedicated support, fostering academic growth, social development, and emotional and physical wellbeing.

By focusing on individual strengths, we empower pupils to achieve their full potential, promoting independence and self-confidence. Our commitment to inclusivity ensures that all pupils, regardless of their diverse learning needs, receive the guidance and resources necessary to thrive.

Through a combination of tailored educational plans, collaborative learning environments, and the integration of technology, we create an engaging and supportive atmosphere that encourages lifelong learning and personal growth.

At Wellbrook School, we believe in providing a comprehensive and tailored educational experience that goes beyond academics, ensuring the growth and development of every pupil in our care.
Our diverse pupil body includes those with accompanying learning disabilities, limited speech, sensory issues, and co-existing conditions like epilepsy, ADHD, or dyspraxia. We understand the challenges our pupils face, including challenging behaviour, significant education gaps, multiple exclusions, and various traumas.
Academically, our pupils arrive with varying capabilities, ranging from significantly below age-related expectations to exceptional capabilities. To meet these diverse needs, we provide high-quality teaching, scaffolding, extension, and intervention.
