Welcome to Wellbrook School - a small school that makes a big difference. Our size means that we get to truly know our pupils, developing an understanding of their strengths and difficulties then adapting to their needs, rather than expecting them to adapt to the school. Our experienced and caring team specialise in supporting young people aged 9-16 with ASD and SEMH needs. Working closely with parents, professionals, and outside agencies, we ensure that our pupils are happy, safe, and making progress towards their personal targets.
We take a holistic approach to re-engage our pupils, developing the whole child, not just their academic skills. Offering a range of curriculum opportunities including GCSEs, functional core studies and a social curriculum, we use EHCP outcomes and parental input as well as pupils' interests and ambitions to weave a personalised learning pathway meeting your child's educational and social needs.
We place children's individuality at the heart of everything we do, with the aim of supporting them towards a happy, fulfilling, and independent adulthood. As many young people with ASD and SEMH needs experience difficulties trying to cope in a classroom full of other young people, Wellbrook School has been designed to provide small, intimate learning spaces, allowing us to minimise social overload and provide the optimum safe space for our learners. If you would like to visit or find out more about our community at Wellbrook School, please do not hesitate to contact us.
